Yet another good summer '82 show:

One of my favorite slow versions of TLEO, great Peggy-O and Samson, another hot Scarlet>Fire, good Estimated, and John Cipollina sits in for the end of the show.

There are some wonderful shows in 1982 but god was Brent using an awful piano synthesizer sound during some of those shows.

Is the "jam" after Estimated really 17 mins long?

Great suggestion. Haven't heard this in a while. I agree on the TLEO ... I tend to like the fast ones, but this one has a kind of molasses raunchiness and lazy swing that's just perfect for summer.

And ohmigosh. That means it was 30 years ago. You know you're getting old when saying "30 years ago" isn't even surprising anymore.

Was anyone else at this show? No, not you, Deniro. You probably weren't even born. (Nya nya nya nya nya ... :-) )

Nya nya nya? Well, hardy har har!

Nope, wasn't born yet. I didn't feel like showing up until 1987.

Great description. Agreed. Jerry's guitar sounds so sweet.

Don't forget Zakir Hussain!
